Described as short and slim with long brown hair and green eyes, Meera is a skilled huntress and the eldest daughter of Howland Reed, Lord of Greywater Watch and one of Ned Stark’s oldest and closest friends. She is a lovely, badass HBIC in green, and I cannot picture anyone but Katie. (It doesn’t help that ASOIAF is Katie’s favourite book series, and that she would pretty much die to get a role on this show.)

You might balk at Katie’s age compared to Meera’s in the book, but she was born in 283 AL, the same year as Jon Snow, the same year as Margaery Tyrell. And considering they cast Kit Harington and Natalie Dormer in those roles, it’s not at all reaching to have someone like Katie play Meera.
